L. J. Binns caricatures 1901-1915

The caricatures are predominately of British personalities, mainly from the world of theater including actors, actresses, playwrights, theater managers and musicians. Also includes a few Americans who were working in the London theater scene, some reform-minded British politicians and two prominent caricaturists of the period. The drawings, some pen and ink, some watercolor, are all signed by Binns; many are autographed by the subject as well.

L. J. Binns was a caricaturist working after the turn of the century in England. He drew caricatures of British personalities, mainly from the worlds of theater and politics.
